A: Favorite Gentlemen is an independent record label that started as a simple community of friends and artists in 2006. It has since developed into a fully operational label servicing records to stores worldwide. Favorite Gentlemen is run by Andy Hull and Jeremiah Edmond of Manchester Orchestra.

A: The name Favorite Gentlemen came from the lyrics of a song Andy Hull and Jonathan Corley wrote in middle school about Braves baseball.

- Q: how can i/my band get signed to FG?
A: Honestly, you probably can't. We don't look for artists to sign. We just make records with our friends. Maybe if you somehow end up hanging out with us or touring with us then we will become friends and we will release your record IF it is good, but probably not.
